HotelSofabeds.com is wholly run by Blackdog Upholstery Limited. We are a specialist sofabed manufacturer that specialises in the hotel sector, thus cutting out unnecessary reseller costs. We can supply sofabeds in 1 or 2 units to smaller hotels or can supply 100’s of bespoke manufactured sofabeds to larger hotel chains.
Where is my Sofabed Manufactured?
We manufacture all our sofabeds in our two UK based factories. We have one factory in Cheshire and another in Staffordshire. As we manufacture all our sofabeds in house we can manufacture in either our range of standard fabrics or in your choice of fabric to suit your room design. If you supply fabric we will require that it is Crib 5 meeting UK Fire Regulations.
Why are your prices so competitive?
Simply put we are the genuine manufacturer, we make the wooden frames, fill our own cushions, shape the foam cut and sew the fabric, upholster the frames,we even make our own mattresses. This is all undertaken by our skilled crafts people in our own factories.
What Guarantee comes with my sofabed?
All our sofabeds are supplied fully assembled and come with a 1 year manufacturing guarantee. This guarantee is subject to normal usage.
Can I have a sofabed manufactured in my own fabric?
We often manufacture hotel sofabeds in our clients choice of fabric. We are a contract manufacturer so are used to manufacturing specifically to our clients requirements. If you wish to do this please contact our office on 01606 594404 and we will discuss your requirements with you. Please note that we would need a UK fire certificate providing with any fabric that you supplied.
What cushion fillings do you use?
Our seat cushions are made from foam and our back cushions are made from virgin polyester fibre.
What mattress comes with your sofa beds?
Our sofabeds are supplied with a foam mattress designed to work with the sofabed action. There is an option to upgrade the foam mattress to a sprung mattress.
What mechanism do your sofa beds use?
Sofabeds in hotel bedrooms can be in almost constant use, and as such they need to be as resilient and reliable as a hotel bed. At Hotelsofabeds.com we only use contract specification sofabed actions. Our sofabed actions have wooden slats and webbing for a combination of comfort and strength.
Do you have a catalogue?

Can I get free fabric samples?
You can order up to three fabric samples free of charge on the website. Just go to our Free Fabric Swatches page choose your three choices and we will send them out straight away.
How can I order?
You can order online or by phone on 01606 594404. Please note our office is open between the hours of 9am and 5pm per day.
How can I pay?
Payment can be made with any major credit or debit card through our payment partner – Payzone. As an alternative you can also pay at checkout through Paypal. Should you wish to order over the telephone we can take orders with all major credit or debit cards with the exception of American Express.
What cyber security does hotelsofabeds.com have?
Our payment gateway is provided by Payzone who work in conjunction with Barclays. HotelSofabeds.com also utilises SSL encryption software which encrypts the site.

As all our sofabeds are made to order and we work on a 28 day lead-time. Should an order be for a large number of sofabeds we will work with you to meet your requirements. Should you need your sofabed quicker, please call us on 01606 594404 and we will do our best to assist you.
Do you deliver outside of the UK?

Can I cancel an order?
If you wish to cancel an order that has not been shipped, please call the office on 01606 594404 and we will do our best to help you.
Can I return an order?
All the sofabeds that we manufacture are bespoke to an individuals requirements.
Under The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you normally have the right to cancel a contract within seven days – starting from the day after you take delivery of goods (a “cooling off period”). However due to the nature of a sofa bed, and for hygiene reasons, and as our sofa beds are all cut and made to order the seven day rule does not apply. This is as per rule 3:38 of the Guide for Businesses on Distance Selling, dated September 2006
However, should you wish to return your sofabed we will accept this within 14 days of delivery. There will though be a restocking fee of 60% which will be deducted from your refund as well as any delivery costs incurred. Please see our Terms & Conditions for full details.
Can I collect from the factory myself?
Yes, this is easily arranged. Just give the company a ring and we will arrange a convenient time to suit you, and we will of course load the sofabeds into your vehicle
